Huaorani Lodge

The Huaorani Ecolodge is situated in terra firma rainforest, an hour walk from the community of Quehueri’ono in the northwestern part of the Huaorani’s territory in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The Huaorani lodge is small, it has been designed to be intimate, harmonious and environmentally friendly. The lodge provides accommodation for a maximum of ten people housed in five traditionally built, palm thatched cabins. All cabins contain a pair of twin beds, a private bathroom, drinking water and a porch with comfortable chairs. To relax the lodge provides a hammock house on the banks of the Shiripuno River. Fruit, tea and coffee are always on hand and a bar is available.
